Suzanne Howard-Roberts, MSW, LCSW
Hello and welcome! You have discovered a place where kindness, encouragement, understanding, and healing are more than just words. As a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist, I consider it an honor to listen, support, and offer guidance to help others achieve their goals. I believe happiness is a journey, and change is always possible.

My philosophy is that therapy should be both a productive and positive experience! I use a variety of different methods that are creative, yet solution focused. My background is extensive, diverse, and I have experience with all ages and issues. Therapy is not only my profession, but my passion.

I spent my formative years growing up all over the world as an expatriate, which started my journey in life with a profound and complete appreciation of diversity and culture. After moving back to the United States, I completed my Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Houston and completed marriage and family coursework at University of Houston Clear Lake, and a Masters in Social Work at the University of Houston in 1998. I have significant experience working with children as young as 4 years old and I completed my fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in pediatrics. I have worked in the elementary and high school levels as a clinician with high risk children and adolescents. My skills with crisis intervention, trauma, and a diverse variety of severe and chronic psychiatric issues have been solidified through my work as a psychiatric evaluator in over 20 hospitals in the Houston and surrounding area. In addition, I have worked inpatient psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults requiring acute stabilization.

The variety of experiences I have been privileged to help assist with have enabled me to be well-equipped to assist you with your therapy needs including, but not limited to:
