Debbie Edmunds, MA, LPC-S, CART, Owner

As a fellow human being I've experienced the happiness and joy that lets us know we are truly alive in a world with many wonders. To see a blue sky, to smell a rose, see the smile on the face of a child, to love another. I also know what it is like to have struggled with pain and suffering, to face challenges and emerge even stronger.

I believe you've worked and sacrificed in many ways to earn your happiness and joy and don't want to allow the stresses of life to get in your way. I also know that sometimes the road of life can be fraught with many roadblocks and a guide can help. If you feel the same allow me to be your guide.

My specialities include:

  • Working with other human beings ages 12+, who want to find happiness by being shown compassion and respect.
  • Helping those who want to find ways to be kind to themselves and others by learning and using healthy coping.
  • Providing services to those from all walks of life, including all types of professionals who want to find happiness without having to be diagnosed with a mental illness.

I also strive for cultural awareness and sensitivity in my practice.

Get it in gear, be kind to your mind and become a healthier, happier you by scheduling an appointment.

I am a LPC supervisor (resume) and I supervise LPC-Interns and Practicum Students with varied interests coming from various schools in the area. My theoretical approach is mainly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy although I utilize approaches from other therapeutic philosophies. Successful completion of some internships will occur in the near future. Please contact me if you require a supervisor. I am a graduate of the University of Houston - Clear Lake and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I am also skilled at instructing clinicians about how to begin a successful private practice. If you're serious about your career, call me. Your success awaits.
