|I earned my Master's of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Houston-Clear Lake and my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. I completed the professional coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Master's level at Florida Institute of Technology in order to obtain a Board Certification in Behavior Analysis.
I am a member of local and national professional organizations, including Southeast Texas Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, and Texas Association of Applied Behavior Analysis.
My clinical experience has given me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults. I have a particular interest in the treatment of the autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal problems.
I believe through the use of empirically supported cognitive-behavioral therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, that a healthy, fulfilled life can be achieved. My primary goal as a behavioral therapist is to help clients reach their maximum potential in life by more effectively negotiating the psychological barriers that interfere with vital living.
