Araceli Hogg, Student Intern
Supervised by Debbie Edmunds, MA, LPC-S
Welcome! My name is Araceli Hogg and I am currently under the supervision of Debbie Edmunds, MA, LPC-S. I am pursuing my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. I moved to Houston, TX 15 years ago, and I am native of Mexico City, Mexico. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, with Spanish being my first language. Knowing that Houston is one of the most multicultural diverse cities in the U.S. , makes me feel excited about meeting and assisting individuals with different backgrounds and cultures.

I believe that each individual is unique and talented, and helping others to recognize and cultivate their potential brings me satisfaction. Sometimes we are shaken by life difficulties, and we forget who we are, why we are here, or simply stop believing in ourselves and forget what we can do to enhance our lives. My passion strives in assisting individuals trough therapeutic approaches to realize their potential to either change, accept, assimilate, and/or simply bring awareness to those life circumstances that sometimes prevent us from living a life worth living.

I HOPE I can be of service to you or your love ones, and have the opportunity to positively touch your life!

"We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future" - Steve Maraboli

"Todos cometemos errores, tenemos luchas (tropiezos), e incluso nos arrepentimos por cosas de nuestro pasado, pero tú no eres tus errores, tú no eres tus luchas, y tú estás aquí AHORA con el poder de moldear tu día y tu futuro" - Steve Maraboli
